Once we truly r...I totally get what you are saying. Once we truly recover, the first time, it most definitely becomes a moral issue. The moral issue arises because we KNOW what will happen. After I was clean for 6 months I broke my femur, ankle and both my hands. I was legally allowed to take opioids and people expected me to. Even then trying to take the prescription as prescribed I watched my self begin to fall into old patterns. All it took was my dad to say I was starting to look like I used to and those pills went down the toilet. I had permission. I knew what would happen if I continued to take them.
