I'm so sick of you being uptight, why can't you relax and get high?

There are more but these are the ones on heavy rotation.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2530451786669304321.post-15201966831000477802015-09-14T12:07:42.917-04:002015-09-14T12:07:42.917-04:00I agree with much of what you are saying here. I ...I agree with much of what you are saying here. I know that once an addict becomes and addict that they do have a brain disease but I also feel like the doctors, psychiatrists, etc., drill this into their heads to the point that they do use the disease concept as an excuse for using and/or relapsing. I've read conversations on fb when they are actively using and honestly they aren't sorry when they are stealing from their parents etc., they act like it is a big joke. Don't get me wrong I do have empathy but you know what in my life I can't show up late for work, get fired, etc., I don't have anyone at all that would condone this or support me for my lack of responsibility. Everyone keeps pushing the disease concept, yes it is a disease but instead of drilling that and relapse is part of recovery into the addicts head how about talking to them about growing up, owning their actions, taking responsibility for their lives, and getting better.
